Our goal is to help you move and feel better so you can participate in your daily activities and hobbies. orthopaedic

Orthopaedic physiotherapy services include injuries and conditions that related to the musculoskeletal system (bones, muscle, fascia, ligaments, tendons). It can help with acute and chronic injuries or limitations in movement and function. We offer both assessment and treatment in-person and virtually.

pelvic health

Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy is a branch of physiotherapy that involves both internal and external assessment and treatment of the pelvic floor muscles, ligaments, tendons and/or nerves of both women and men.

Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy includes, but is not limited to:

  • Bladder Pain Syndrome

  • Coccydynia (pain in the tailbone region)

  • Constipation

  • Diastasis Recti 

  • Dyspareunia (painful intercourse)

  • Endometriosis 

  • Pelvic girdle pain

  • Pelvic organ prolapse

  • Postpartum check-in 

  • Urinary or fecal incontinence

  • Urinary or fecal urgency

  • Vaginismus

  • Vestibulodynia/Vulvodynia

Pelvic floor physiotherapy is for everyone and you do not need to be experiencing symptoms in order to obtain an assessment. If you are postpartum, we wait until your 6-week clearance to perform an internal pelvic exam.

gla:d® program

The GLA:D® program is both an educational and exercise program for those experiencing knee and hip osteoarthritis. This program is circuit-based  includes a series of exercises/progressions to strengthen muscles surrounding the knee and hips and help with pain relief and improve function. 

Before joining the GLA:D® program, you must obtain a physiotherapy assessment to ensure you qualify for this type of program and complete baseline exercise testing and outcome measures. If you are eligible, you will complete 1-2 educational sessions and 12 exercise sessions (2 per week, approximately 1-1.5 hours long). You will also be required to complete forms throughout the program for research purposes for GLA:D®.
